Welcome!
- Jon Kabat-Zinn
Currently engaged as a Metaphysician and Healing Touch practitioner at Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires, I’ve spearheaded new programs and services there for 26 years. I was also a senior faculty member at Kripalu Center for more than 20 years.
Besides providing healing, alignment, and transformation through a variety of lectures and services, I am the author of eleven books. Topics range from spiritual aging to channeling methodology, vegetarian cooking to Sanskrit chanting, and spiritual guidance. Very soon, my latest work, The Last Supper: A New England Murder Mystery, will be available.
Why not look aging squarely in the face? Even a wrinkled face!
As an elder, the time comes to ask yourself, “What value does a spiritual path hold for me?” Given the shifts and changes of aging, there’s something about this stage of life that inclines us more in the direction of spiritual practice. So how committed are you to discerning a path that works?
How much do you desire the effects of true spiritual practice? This can’t be stressed enough. Find the type of spiritual engagement that calls to you. And then—are you willing to “stop time” in order to take up this practice—which in effect means setting time to be “out of time”? Then slow down discussion and speed up your action!
Explore the adversity and diversity of the aging process as well as its gifts and insights in Levitt’s new work, The Spiritual Path of Aging. In the end, you may be pleased to accept the title of “Enlightened Elder,” for after all our many years of growth and learning on this planet, that’s actually who we’ve become!
Aging is more than just a physical process; it's a spiritual journey. In “The Spiritual Path of Aging” bestselling author Jo Ann Levitt (Atma) explores how we can find new insights, growth, and transformation in our later years. An anniversary dinner where not everyone makes it to dessert.
In the peaceful heart of the southern Berkshires, where charming bakeries, boutique spas, and small-town camaraderie rule the day, no one expects murder. But beneath the snowy tranquility, simmering tensions, personal secrets, and unresolved grief are about to boil over.
Martha Parker, a gifted cook and aspiring caterer, tries to build a comforting life among croissants, casseroles, and lingering sorrow. Her husband, George—a spa psychiatrist juggling quirky clients and questionable boundaries—quietly drifts further from the home they once built together.
As student protests ignite over ancestral land rights and a local tragedy stirs rumors of foul play, this seemingly cozy town unravels in unexpected ways. When a body is discovered and past traumas resurface, everyone becomes a suspect—including those closest to Martha.
Told with wit, warmth, and a delicious dose of suspense, Supper is a small-town mystery where food, love, and loyalty are tested.
Each private session runs for 50 minutes and is conducted entirely on Zoom. Learn More >
